Cave Stone

"CAVE STONE"
Stone: Limestone. Found by the author, Culebra Creek, San Antonio, TX
Dimensions: 4"Wx6"Dx2"H
Diaza: native Texas Mesquite. Carved by the author.

This stone is a very nice piece. When I collect cave stones I usually look for ones that represent an actual miniature cave dwelling; with space for sleeping away from the elements, and a small hole in the top where smoke from cooking could escape. This one has those features.

In this case I also created a unique diaza with four distinct feet, representing birth, youth, old age, and death.
