Over time I will try to obtain stones that show the variety found and treasured in each country. Please keep in mind that stones and rocks from the various countries are often very similar. Many current Chinese stones are more similar to current Japanese Suiseki and Korean Sosuk than to ancient Chinese Scholar Rocks or Penjing.
In the west, this form of art is relatively new. So it is still evolving, and that creates a certain amount of excitement as things change. Based on most things "Western" the art will probably try to include all pieces of the original Oriental forms as well as everything new from the west. It should be an interesting time.
